Controlled Designation of Origin
Costaripa dedicates to Pompeo Gherardo Molmenti, the creator in 1896 of Chiaretto di Moniga, the most representative wine of its history. The "tear" vinification and fermentation in barrels allow offering a Chiaretto of "tradition", with a particular character and longevity. Bottled after two years of aging following the harvest, it then rests in the bottle until its perfect maturity.
Grape Varieties: Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese, Barbera.
Color: Light pink-coppery, bright, unique in its kind, with delicate peach-colored reflections.
Aroma: Rich and complex. Wide range of sweet white flowers and small red fruits. Over time, it gathers hints of light vanilla and significant iodized notes.
Taste: Perfect taste-olfactory correspondence.
Enveloping structure, wide and complex with a highly original sapidity and persistence. Crisp freshness that stimulates drinking.
Longevity: 8-10 years.
