Tenuta Corbari - Red Wine "Custode"

The Merlot "Custode" from Tenuta Corbari presents itself with an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. It opens on the nose with fresh notes of red berry fruit, followed by hints of spices ranging from black pepper to licorice. On the palate, it is soft and round, intense and with a good, pronounced freshness where the mineral aspect stands out, complemented by a balanced tannic structure. A rich wine that reflects its territory and its varietal (100% Merlot), hand-harvested. The vineyards extend along the morainic hills, near the village of Madonna della Scoperta (Desenzano), where the soil becomes more stony and sandy, less compact, the percentage of clay decreases, and the altitude rises. 1000 bottles produced, all numbered.
